- (1953-), British statesman; prime minister 1997–2007; full name Anthony Charles Lynton Blair. He was elected leader of the Labour Party in 1994. His landslide victory in the election of 1997 gave his party its biggest-ever majority and made him the youngest prime minister since Lord Liverpool in 1812.
