Definition of Fisk, James in English:

( 1834–72), US financier; known as Big Jim. He made his fortune in the stock manipulation that ruined the Erie Railroad, and with Jay Gould he engineered events that involved the US treasury in the scandalous Black Friday attempt to corner the gold market in 1869.
