( 1895–1943), US lyricist; full name Lorenz Milton Hart. His collaborations with composer Richard Rodgers include the scores for the Broadway shows Babes in Arms (1937), The Boys from Syracuse (1938), and Pal Joey (1940). His songs include “Blue Moon” (1934) and “My Funny Valentine” (1937).
