An organization founded by the American Lutheran evangelist Frank Buchman (1878–1961) and first popularized in Oxford, England, in the 1920s (hence until about 1938 called the Oxford Group). It emphasizes personal integrity and confession of faults, cooperation, and mutual respect, especially as a basis for social transformation.
