Definition of Mortimer, Roger de in English:

8th Baron of Wigmore and 1st Earl of March ( circa 1287–1330), English noble. In 1326, he invaded England with his lover Isabella of France and replaced her husband Edward II with her son, the future Edward III. When Edward III assumed power in 1330, he had Mortimer executed.
