During his football career (1989–2005), he played for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. From 1989 until 2001, he also played baseball with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants.
