Definition of Sills, Beverly in English:

( 1929–2007), US opera singer; born Belle Miriam Silverman. Her association with the New York City Opera included a career as a soprano 1955–80 and the positions of general director 1979–88 and president 1989–90. In 1993, she became the first woman chairperson of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
