1A dormant volcano on the French island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Sea. Rising to 4,813 feet (1,468 m), it is the highest peak in the Lesser Antilles.
2An active volcanic peak on the island of St. Vincent in the Caribbean. It rises to a height of 4,006 feet (1,234 m).

French, from soufre 'sulfur'.
