( 1937-), Russian chess player; world champion 1969–72; full name Boris Vasilevich Spassky. He was defeated by Bobby Fischer in 1972 and moved to Paris in 1975. In 1992, he had a rematch with Fischer, played in Montenegro and Serbia; Fischer won again.
