Brubeck, Dave

Pronunciation: /ˈbro͞oˌbek/
(1920–2012), US jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader; full name David Warren Brubeck. He formed the Dave Brubeck Quartet in 1951 and gained a reputation as an experimental musician. He won international recognition with the album Time Out (1959), which included “Take Five.”.
