Feynman, Richard Phillips

Pronunciation: /ˈfīnmən/
(1918–88), US theoretical physicist. He is noted for his work on quantum electrodynamics. He shared the 1965 Nobel Prize for Physics with Julian Schwinger (1918–94) and Sin-Itiro Tomonaga (1906–97).
