Jennings, Waylon

Pronunciation: /ˈjeniNGz/
(1937–2002), US country musician; full name Waylon Arnold Jennings. A central figure in the outlaw country music movement of the 1970s, he is noted for the songs “Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys” (1978) and “The Eagle” (1990).
