Kabwe

Pronunciation: /ˈkäbwā/
A town in central Zambia, north of Lusaka; population 211,500 (est. 2009). It is the site of a cave that has yielded human fossils associated with the Upper Pleistocene period. Former name (1904–65) Broken Hill.
