1A city in southeastern New York, north of the Bronx in New York City; population 68,653 (est. 2008).
2An estate in northeastern Virginia, about 15 miles (24 km) from Washington, DC, on a site overlooking the Potomac River. Built in 1743, it was the home of George Washington 1747–99.
