Munro, Alice

(1931-), Canadian writer. Many of her short stories are collected in Dance of the Happy Shades (1968), The Progress of Love (1986), Open Secrets (1995), and The Love of a Good Woman (1998). Her novels include Lives of Girls and Women (1971). Nobel Prize for Literature (2013).
