A low table or bracket in the space between two windows, typically placed under a pier glass.
- Custom-made form travelers, weighing about 145 tons each, were erected on each end of the pier table and used for cast-in-place construction of the bridge deck.
- After one tower had been completed a section of the deck structure - called the pier table - was poured on braced supports from the tower.
- Next to the clock is an unusual table with one side drawer, a serpentine front, and deftly turned unreeded legs; it was probably used as a serving or pier table.
