Schulz, Charles

Pronunciation: /SHo͝olts/
(1922–2000), US cartoonist. He is remembered as the creator of the widely syndicated “Peanuts” comic strip that featured a range of characters including Charlie Brown and his dog Snoopy. First published in 1950, the comic strip has since appeared in many publications around the world.
