Simon, Neil

Pronunciation: /ˈsīmən/
(1927-), US playwright; full name Marvin Neil Simon. Most of his plays are wry comedies that portray aspects of middle-class life. They include Barefoot in the Park (1963), The Odd Couple (1965), and Lost in Yonkers (1991). Many of his plays were made into movies.
