Theodorakis, Mikis

Pronunciation: /ˌTHēədəˈräkis/
(1925-), Greek composer and politician. He was imprisoned by the military government for his left-wing political activities (1967–70). His compositions include the ballet Antigone (1958) and the score for the movie Zorba the Greek (1964).
