Venturi, Robert

(1925-), US architect and writer; pioneer of postmodernist architecture; full name Robert Charles Venturi. Among his buildings are the Humanities Classroom Building of the State University of New York at Purchase (1973) and the Dumbarton Oaks Research Library in Washington, DC (2005).
