Bruce, James Line breaks: James Bruce

Definition of Bruce, James in English:

( 1730–94), Scottish explorer. In 1770 he was the first European to discover the source of the Blue Nile, although his Travels to Discover the Sources of the Nile (1790), recounting his expedition, was dismissed by his contemporaries as fabrication.
