Definition of Cibber, Colley in English:

( 1671–1757), English comic actor, dramatist, and theatre manager. After his much-ridiculed appointment as Poet Laureate in 1730 he wrote an Apology for the Life of Mr Colley Cibber, Comedian (1740).
