Definition of Croce, Benedetto in English:

( 1866–1952), Italian philosopher and politician. In his ‘Philosophy of Spirit’ he denied the physical reality of a work of art and identified philosophical endeavour with a methodological approach to history. A former Minister of Education, he helped to rebuild democracy in Italy after the fall of Mussolini.
