Definition of Fechner, Gustav Theodor in English:

( 1801–87), German physicist and psychologist. Fechner hoped to make psychology a truly objective science and coined the termed psychophysics to define his study of the quantitative relationship between degrees of physical stimulation and the resulting sensations.
