A cape forming the easternmost extremity of the Mosquito Coast in Central America, on the border between Nicaragua and Honduras.

Origin

Spanish, literally 'thanks (be) to God', so named by Columbus, who, becalmed off the coast in 1502, was able to continue his voyage with the arrival of a following wind.
