Definition of Heine, Heinrich in English:

( 1797–1856), German poet; born Harry Heine; full name Christian Johann Heinrich Heine. Much of his early lyric poetry was set to music by Schumann and Schubert. In 1830 Heine emigrated to Paris, where his works became more political.
