Definition of Lorentz, Hendrik Antoon in English:

( 1853–1928), Dutch theoretical physicist. He worked on the forces affecting electrons and realized that electrons and cathode rays were the same thing. For their work on electromagnetic theory he and his pupil Pieter Zeeman ( 1865–1943) shared the 1902 Nobel Prize for Physics.
