Definition of Lumière in English:

Auguste Marie Louis Nicholas ( 1862–1954) and Louis Jean ( 1864–1948), French inventors and pioneers of cinema. In 1895 the brothers patented their ‘Cinématographe’, a cine camera and projector in one. They also invented the improvedautochromeprocess of colour photography.
