Definition of Marks, Simon in English:

1st Baron Marks of Broughton ( 1888–1964), English businessman. In 1907 he inherited the Marks and Spencer Penny Bazaars established by his father and Thomas Spencer. These formed the nucleus of the retail chain Marks & Spencer, created in 1926.
