Definition of Messerschmidt, Willy in English:

( 1898–1978), German aircraft designer and industrialist; full name Wilhelm Emil Messerschmidt. He designed and constructed his first glider in 1915 and set up a company in 1923. The Messerschmidt 109 became the standard fighter of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War.
