Definition of Peake, Mervyn in English:

( 1911–68), British novelist, poet, and artist, born in China; full name Mervyn Laurence Peake. He is principally remembered for the trilogy comprising Titus Groan (1946), Gormenghast (1950), and Titus Alone (1959), set in the surreal world of Gormenghast Castle.
