( 1830–94), English poet; full name Christina Georgina Rossetti. She wrote much religious poetry (reflecting her High Anglican faith), love poetry, and children’s verse. Notable works: Goblin Market and Other Poems (1862). She was the sister of Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
