Definition of Russo-Turkish Wars in English:

A series of wars between Russia and the Ottoman Empire, fought largely in the Balkans, the Crimea, and the Caucasus in the 19th century. The treaty ending the war of 1877-8 freed the nations of Romania, Serbia, and Bulgaria from Turkish rule.
