  • (1924–75), US writer and television producer; full name Rodman Edward Serling. He created and hosted the television series The Twilight Zone (1959–64) and Night Gallery (1970–73). He also wrote many award-winning scripts for television plays such as Requiem for a Heavyweight (1957).
