(B.1963), American film director, screenwriter, and actor; full name Quentin Jerome Tarantino. He came to sudden prominence with Reservoir Dogs (1992), followed in 1994 by Pulp Fiction. Both aroused controversy for their amorality and violence but also won admiration for their wit and style.
