1A group of about 1,500 islands in a widening of the St Lawrence River in North America, just below Kingston. Some of the islands belong to Canada and some to the US.
2A group of about 100 small islands off the north coast of Java, forming part of Indonesia. Indonesian name Pulau Seribu.
