Definition of Volga in English:

The longest river in Europe, which rises in NW Russia and flows 3,688 km (2,292 miles) generally eastwards to Kazan, where it turns south-eastwards to the Caspian Sea. It has been dammed at several points to provide hydroelectric power, and is navigable for most of its length.
