Burbage, Richard

Pronunciation: /ˈbəːbɪdʒ/
(Circa 1567–1619), English actor. He was the creator of most of Shakespeare’s great tragic roles — Hamlet, Othello, Lear, and Richard III — and was also associated with the building of the Globe Theatre.
