Carmichael, Hoagy

Pronunciation: /kɑːˈmʌɪk(ə)l/
(1899–1981), American jazz pianist, composer, and singer; born Howard Hoagland Carmichael. His best-known songs include ‘Stardust’ (1929), ‘Two Sleepy People’ (1938), and ‘In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening’ (1951).
