Cheshire, Leonard

Pronunciation: /ˈtʃɛʃə/
(1917–92), British airman and philanthropist; full name Geoffrey Leonard Cheshire. A bomber pilot in the Second World War, he later founded the Cheshire Foundation Homes for disabled and incurably sick people.
