Pronunciation: /ˈdɪlən/
(B.1941), American singer and songwriter; born Robert Allen Zimmerman. The leader of an urban folk-music revival in the 1960s, he became known for political and protest songs such as ‘The Times They Are A-Changin’ (1964). Notable albums: Highway 61 Revisited (1965) and Blood on the Tracks (1975).
