Latimer, Hugh

Pronunciation: /ˈlatɪmə/
(Circa 1485–1555), English Protestant prelate and martyr. One of Henry VIII’s chief advisers when the king broke with the papacy, under Mary I he was condemned for heresy and burnt at the stake at Oxford with Nicholas Ridley.
