Lyly, John

Pronunciation: /ˈlɪli/
(Circa 1554–1606), English prose writer and playwright. His prose romance in two parts, Euphues, The Anatomy of Wit (1578) and Euphues and his England (1580), was written in an elaborate style that became known as euphuism.
