Mauna Kea

Pronunciation: /ˌmaʊnə ˈkeɪə/
An extinct volcano on the island of Hawaii, in the central Pacific. Rising to 4,205 m (13,796 ft), it is the highest peak in the Hawaiian islands. The summit area is the site of several large astronomical telescopes.
