Perceval, Spencer

Pronunciation: /ˈpəːsɪv(ə)l/
(1762–1812), British Tory statesman, prime minister 1809–12. He was shot dead in the lobby of the House of Commons by a bankrupt merchant who blamed the government for his insolvency.
