Pindus Mountains

Pronunciation: /ˈpɪndəs/
A range of mountains in west central Greece, stretching from the border with Albania southwards to the Gulf of Corinth. The highest peak is Mount Smolikas, which rises to 2,637 m (8,136 ft). Greek name Píndhosˈpinðɔs.
