Scout Association

A worldwide youth organization founded for boys in 1907 by Lord Baden-Powell with the aim of developing their character by training them in self-sufficiency and survival techniques in the outdoors. Called the Boy Scouts until 1967, the Scout Association admitted girls as members from 1990.
