A state-owned farm in the former Soviet Union.
- Hitherto the party had accepted only a gradual increase of kolkhozy (collective, cooperative, or communal farms) and of sovkhozy (state farms with wage-earning peasants).
- As far as Maevo and its surrounding area was concerned, the main employer, the sovkhoz (state farm), had largely ceased to function.
