1 Astronomy A constellation (the Bull), said to represent a bull that was tamed by Jason. Its many bright stars include Aldebaran (the bull’s eye), and it contains the star clusters of the Hyades and the Pleiades, and the Crab Nebula.
2 Astrology The second sign of the zodiac, which the sun enters on about 21 April.
2.1 (a Taurus) A person born when the sun is in the sign of Taurus.
