Tulsidas

Pronunciation: /ˈtʊlsɪdɑːs/
(Circa 1543–1623), Indian poet. A leading Hindu devotional poet, he is chiefly remembered for the Ramcaritmanas (circa 1574-7), a work consisting of seven cantos based on the Sanskrit epic the Ramayana.
